Montana State University Community Cat Walk
Montana State University will host its Community Cat Walk on the Friday before the beginning of fall classes from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The procession will include MSU President Cruzado, Champ the mascot, the MSU Spirit of the West Marching Band, the MSU Spirit Squad, and other representatives from the university and local community. They will make their way down Main Street to generate buzz about MSU. The group will visit and enter local businesses and stores along the route, play the school fight song, and distribute exclusive Montana State branded merchandise. The Community Cat Walk has become a well-established tradition that is not to be missed in the community.

The procession will begin at 11:00 AM at the First Interstate Bank location at the corner of Grand Avenue and Main Street, heading east along the south side of Main Street. Mid-way through the event, the walkers will stop for 20 minutes at Soroptimist Park located at the corner of Rouse Avenue and Main Street to enjoy refreshments and obtain player autographs.

From there, the walkers will head back west along the north side of Main Street, ending around 1:00 PM at the Wells Fargo Bank at the corner of Grand Avenue and Main Street. Montana State fans are encouraged to join in the walk and spread Bobcat school spirit.

This free community event will take place rain or shine. All are welcome to participate and show their support for Montana State University.
